November 8th, 2006 - Big update: scans, caps and clips!

For the rest of the week I won't probably be able to update the site, so I wanna leave all of our visitors with enough material to bide the time.
The gallery has been loaded with a lot of old and rare scans (ads, modelling shots, articles + pics...). Sluga made 400+ screen caps from 1994's film I Mitici. We LOVE this movie! Monica is so funny in it! We crack up laughing every time she says a line with that Umbrian accent! :-DD
And since you asked for more clips, our VIDEOArchives have been promptly refurnished:
Tv Appearances: Le Iene (October 17th, 2006), Ca Donne Envie BTS (November 3rd), Hebdo Ciné (November 4th, 2006), Bord Cadre (November 5th, 2006).
We managed to find many of Monica's latest appearances at French tv shows, but there are still many we're trying to get our hands on. Wish us luck!
We heard rumours about Monica being once again in talk for the role of Sonia Gandhi. She should be meeting the real Sonia in order to convince her to concede the leave for this biopic to be made. Don't get excited though: it's just a rumour. Someone told me that you she has online profile at so if you ever wanted to meet her jump in there at onenightstandsite.com
I finally saw N - Io e Napoleone and I can tell you it's an amazing film. I enjoyed every single minute of it. All the cast members are just so talented. And Monica's performance... I'd dare say it's one of her best yet. So if you have the chance, go see it!

November 6th, 2006 - New scans and caps.

Hi, all! Sorry for the two-week silence, I've been terribly busy formatting my good old pc and helping my parents at work. Still Sluga and I have uploaded in the gallery some new gorgeous scans from the latest Italian issue of GQ and some screen caps from Agents Secrets + making of and a very recent French television interview. Oh, I was almost forgetting: there are also the scans from November 2005's issue of Glamour!
Monica is now in France promoting her latest movie Le Concile de Pierre and preparing to shoot Le Deuxième Souffle, so she is/will be appearing on many tv shows there. If any French fan could donate video clips, that would be greatly appreciated ;-)

Speaking of scans, some people have been detagging our scans with a black frame and posting them on forums. Please, do NOT do that. We spend a huge amount of time in scanning these magazines, magazines that were bought with our own money. This site was built to share material with other fans, but we would like to see our efforts recognized. Besides, those who will see our scans around will be able to track Monica-Bellucci.net back from the tag and find all the rest of our goodies. We do our best to keep our tagging the less invasive as possible, putting our logo in a corner on the bottom of the picture, which makes it very easy to remove. All we ask is have respect.

October 24th, 2006 - Some new scans and a couple of videos.

October's issue of French movie magazine Score published some extraordinary (and provocative) pics depicting our dear Monique bruised and bleeding, yet still very beautiful. These amazing shots are accompanied by a long and interesting article about Le Concile de Pierre. The scans, as well as some older ones, have been placed in the gallery.
The VIDEOArchives have been updated, too. Here's what's new in there:
Tv Specials: Tg1 - The Brothers Grimm at Cannes Film Festival, Non Solo Moda - Rouge Dior.
Dior official site made available the beautiful tv spot that's airing on all channels worldwide. Monica looks... I don't know, there are no words to describe how gorgeous she looks in that advertisement... *o*

October 20th, 2006 - Diva e Donna scans and various screen captures.

I've been extremely busy today and I really couldn't make the time to prepare the massive update I had in mind. Nonetheless I scanned a new magazine, Diva e Donna, and found some nice and rare video clips that Sluga promptly capped. What are you waiting for?? Go check the gallery! :-D
A huge amount of stuff is on its way (video and audio files, scans, screen caps, press articles...), so stay tuned!

October 19th, 2006 - Chi and Corriere della Sera Magazine scans.

Just a quick update to inform all of our visitors that in the gallery you can find some of the scans from the lastest Italian magazines that we promised. Translations of the interviews and more scans are coming soon. Probably tomorrow ;-)

October 18th, 2006 - Rome Film Festival: Le Concile de Pierre photocall. And much  more.

The news of the tragic subway crash that shook Rome arrived at the festival right before Le Concile de Pierre press conference. Monica expressed her solidarity towards the victims of the accident and stated: "We are all very shocked by this tragedy, and both you and me feel a little stupid talking about movies today." She also declared: "I believe it's very difficult for all of us to talk about movies now. It seems silly to talk about this when there are things so grave, like the one that happened today." All red carpets have been cancelled, so don't expect to find pics of the event online. Our thoughts and prayers are with those who suffered from this horrible occurrence.
Sluga and I have been literally flooded by new material. Monique is popping out everywhere here in Italy. She's in all magazines, on all tv shows... And that's absolutely perfect. Little by little we will bring you all the latest scans, hq candids and video clips.
Speaking of, our VIDEOArchives have been updated with the following exclusive goodies:
Interviews: N - Io e Napoleone Press Conference, Le Concile de Pierre Press Conference;
Tv Specials: Tg1 - Subway crash casts a shadow over Rome Film Festival, Tg1 - Monica visits radio show Viva Radio 2.
The gallery has some great new stuff as well: October 2006's Vogue scans (these are high quality and just extraordinary!), Vita coi Figli production stills (Monica's very first movie!), Le Concile de Pierre photocall pics and caps from her appearance at Viva Radio 2 and from a nice tv special.
That's all... for now.

 October 17th, 2006 - Rome Film Festival: N - Io e Napoleone photocall + premiere  pics (200+).

Last Saturday, N - Io e Napoleone premiered at Rome Film Festival. The film was welcomed warmly both from critics and public, and Monica's performance received very good comments. Of course Monique was there to promote the movie and, needless to say, she was simply gorgeous. She already looked astonishing at the photocall/press conference, but when she arrived on the red carpet... man, she shone like a true goddess. No wonder she was named empress of the festival. My friend Maurizio was there and told me she was very kind to fans, signing a lot of autographs. Our lady was accompanied by seven guards wearing the feluca, the typical Napoleonic hat. Right after that, Monica attended the post-premiere party. In the gallery we gathered over 200 pictures of the above mentioned events.
Besides the whole promotion thing, Madame Bellucci has been very busy in the past few days. On Friday, she was spotted dining and discussing work with actor and director Michele Placido. Yesterday she visited the radio show Viva Radio 2, where she sang Ti Amo with host Fiorello and ironically mocked herself side by side with her impersonator Gabriella Germani. Clips are coming soon.
(From now on, we will refer to N - Napoléon with its actual original title: N - Io e Napoleone. We remind all Italian fans that the film is now out in theaters, so go see it!)

October 14th, 2006 - Rome Film Festival has begun!

Yesterday Monica left her hotel and relaxed going out for some shopping. Obviously, as soon as she put a foot on the street, a commotion started. Even though she was followed by a crowd of photographers and fans, Monica was uber nice, shaking hands, signing autographs and kissing cheeks (!). Isn't she amazing?? ^_^
Today Ms. Bellucci's presenting one of her two movies scheduled for this festival, N - Napoléon, so a lot of new candids from the press conference and the premiere events are on their way *__* A friend of mine will be on the red carpet tonight and he assured me he'll try to get some exclusive snaps for our site :-D
In the meantime, you can check out these wonderful stills taken yesterday outsite hotel Locarno.

October 13th, 2006 - Magazines scans and interview.

As I promised, I started translating some articles from the Italian in order to fill up our sadly unused press archive. The process took a little more than I expected and that's what kept me from updating in the recent period. The first piece I propose you is a long and nice interview taken from February's Gente.
The scans of the above mentioned magazine (and many more) have already been available in the gallery for a couple of days.

 October 6th, 2006 - CIAK scans and N - Napoléon trailer's screen caps.

Thanks to all of her upcoming projects, Ms. Bellucci is featured on this month's issue of Italian movie magazine CIAK. Check out the scans in the gallery, along with the screen caps of much anticipated film N - Napoléon theatrical trailer.

October 5th, 2006 - Le Concile de Pierre trailer is here!

Yesterday, just as I was posting about how wonderful Le Concile de Pierre is gonna be, its trailer was put online. And it kinda confirmed what I thought. Be sure to download the trailer from our VIDEOArchives! 50 captures can be found in the gallery.

October 4th, 2006 - New Le Concile de Pierre promo stills and scans.

With the Rome Film Festival approaching and the launch of the Dior lipstick campaign, Monica is once again very present on magazines and all media in general. Of course I will be scanning and capping all the wonderful material ahead, but I would also like to translate some new interviews, 'cause they're really worth it. Besides, we haven't added new stuff to the press section for a very long time.
In the meantime, for your viewing pleasure, the gallery has been enriched with more scans, both old and new, and promo stills from Le Concile de Pierre. This movie looks awsome *O* I'm sure Monique will give us an extraordinary performance in it.

 September 30th, 2006 - Happy birthday, Monica!

All your fans here at Monica-Bellucci.net wish you a wonderful birthday filled with joy, happiness, peace and good health!

September 26th, 2006 - Both N - Napoléon AND Le Concile de Pierre at Rome Film  Festival!

Great news, guys! Both Monica's new films will be presented at Rome Film Festival. The schedule of the event has finally been announced and tomorrow tickets will be available for sale. Paolo Virzì's N - Napoléon will be screened on October 14, while Le Concile de Pierre by Guillaume Nicloux is set to be premiered three days later, on October 17.
Speaking of, I got my hands on N - Napoléon teaser trailer (you can download it from the official French site) and on a promotional interview of director Guillaume Nicloux for Le Concile de Pierre featuring some nice sequences from the movie and some backstage stuff. Screen caps have already been uploaded in the gallery.

September 22nd, 2006 - Shoot 'Em Up trailer, Le Concile de Pierre + N - Napoléon  official sites and gallery update.

After a long wait (almost a year), Monique's new movies are finally being released!
N - Napoléon: the official French site is now online, though it's quite a disappointment. They promised the trailer would be up yesterday, but it hasn't showed yet... Plus, none of the thumbs can be enlarged. That's a pity, 'cause they really are beautiful pics. I hope they'll fix it soon.
The film will have its premiere at Rome Film Festival in October. The precise date is going to be announced on September 26th, along with the festival's schedule.
Le Concile de Pierre: another official website opens its doors. This one is definitely better both in design and contents. There is no trailer, but I'm sure it's just a matter of time. Le Concile de Pierre is hitting French theaters on November 15th. Sluga has read the book and told me we can expect a lot of suspence, action and fight scenes. Monica and martial arts: what more do you want?? ;-P
Shoot 'Em Up: LatinoReview.com obtained the exclusive for the first promo reel of this promising action flick. It ain't a hd clip, but it's surely worth a look. Or two.

As if this wasn't enough to be cheering, we uploaded some more new scans and some nice stills from Le Concile de Pierre and many from N - Napoléon in the gallery. Enjoy!

September 14th, 2006 - Guess what? We have some new scans.

I knew sooner or later it would happen: I need to go back to studying for my university exams. But that won't stop me from keeping scanning the plethora of magazines that lies on my desk. You have my word.

September 12th, 2006 - Birthday project, Franck Spadone screen caps.

I feel extremely sorry in announcing that our birthday project, in the form of the book we planned originally, had to be cancelled. We received very few entries, definitely too few in order to build up the book we had in mind. To those who sent in their works, we thank you very much and don't worry: we'll dispatch your gorgeous pieces of art to Monica's fan mail and hopefully she will see them. The deadline has been postponed for a couple of days, so that if any of you want their wishes to be part of our big birthday letter, you still have the chance to join us.
Sluga screen capped 1999's film Franck Spadone. You can find all 177 caps in the gallery.

September 10th, 2006 - Fashion magazines scans and Ms. Bellucci sighting at  Madonna's concert in Paris.

I'm back folks! I missed you so much! I had a great time at the Venice Film Festival, but I'm glad I'm finally able to update the site.
Sluga is currently making screen caps from various Monique's films, so stay tuned, 'cause the gallery is gonna be majorly expanded. Today you can admire some rare and exclusive scans from fashion magazines. They are amazing, aren't they? In addition, there's also a nice article + pic from Star Inc. of March 2005.
A friend of Sluga's spotted Monica at the Parisian Madonna's concert. What a surprise! He asked her if he could take a picture with her, but she answered she was in a hurry. "Then let me just tell you you are beautiful," he said. And the goddess said goodbye by blowing a kiss to him. Gee, I love these stories...

August 28th, 2006 - Monica at Rome Film Festival!

Monica is going to attend the first edition of the Rome Film Festival (October 13th - October 20th) for the premiere of her latest Italian movie, N - Napoléon. The festival schedule hasn't been announced yet, so I can't tell you when exactly she will make her appearance. It's also been rumoured for a very long time that she would be the hostess of the event, but so far there hasn't been any official confirmation. One thing for sure, both Sluga and I will do all we can to be there!
Time has come for me to take a little vacation. In a few days I'll leave for Venice, where I'll spend more or less a week. Before I go, I want to leave you with something special :-) In the gallery you can find a whole new batch of scans. Neat stuff. Enjoy.

 August 26th, 2006 - Even more scans.

Tomorrow I'll post some exciting news about Monique's agenda for the next few months. In the meanwhile enjoy these random scans :-)

August 19th, 2006 - Scans. Lots of scans.

On these quiet summer days, I dove once again into my neverending magazines collection, emerging with some more scans of articles featuring magnificent pics. So get ready to feast your eyes, my friends! Personally, I love the Vanity Fair photoshoot *__*

August 11th, 2006 - Monica's driver causes accident while buying ice cream.

Yesterday Monica's driver caused a crash on Lungotevere in Rome while going to buy an ice cream for the actress, who demanded it before the beginning of shootings on the set of Manuale d'Amore 2. The car, coming back from the commission, suddenly pulled over in front of the truck serving as dressing room, without noticing that a light motorcycle and a motorbike were arriving on the left, and hit them. The pilot of the latter lost his cap and fell against the rim of the truck. He was immediately brought to General Hospital Gemelli, where he's in a critical condition, even though his life is not endangered. The other two people involved are well.
The whole story is terrible and I really hope the man will recover soon. Still I'm surprised the media have the nerve to accuse Ms. Bellucci for what happened just to hype the piece of news and make it gossip. On tv they even claimed that the pilot of the motorbike, a family man, risked to die because of a diva caprice of Monica. As if eating ice cream was an unattainable vip request! The driver made a mistake, and this is clear, but I believe no one can lay the blame on Monica. She's not the one who was behind the wheel. Also, she was profoundly shaken by getting to know of the accident, so much that when shootings reprised, she had a very hard time focusing on the scene, which had to be repeated many times. So hands off of Monique, mean journalists! >_<

August 10th, 2006 - VIDEOArchives redesign and update.

The reorganization of the VIDEOArchives is finally complete. Hope you'll enjoy the new look (whose credit goes once again to inimitable Sluga). I'm sorry it took so long, but it was really necessary. From now on adding clips will be much easier for us. Here's following a list of the videos that have already been uploaded.

Commercials: D&G's Sicily (full version);
Trailers: Malena, Le Pacte des Loups (international), The Passion of the Christ, The Brothers Grimm;
Tv Appearances: Dopo Tg1 (May 19th, 2006), Stasera Pago Io... Revolution (April 3rd, 2004);
Tv Specials: Tg2 - On the set of Manuale d'Amore 2.

August 4th, 2006 - Le Pacte des Loups extras screen captures.

The slow down in the updates is just normal, I assure you. We spent the past few days gathering some exclusive material and thinking of a redisign for the VIDEOArchives. Expect them to be more eye-catchy and filled with tons of fantastic new clips, so stay tuned!
In the meanwhile you can check out the screen caps I made from the extras of the 4 discs edition DVD of Le Pacte des Loups.

 August 1st, 2006 - Monica-Bellucci.net birthday project!

As many of you probably already know, September 30th is Monica's birthday. To celebrate the occasion, Sluga and I decided to launch a special project to create a unique gift for our beloved goddess. All fans are welcome to contribute to it. Actually we need your help to make our little idea into a real and wonderful present. How? Go check the forum and find out! :-D

 July 29th, 2006 - Behind the scenes of Manuale d'Amore 2!

Yesterday was a great day for all Italian fans. In fact, Ms. Bellucci appeared in all her splendor on the news of almost every tv channel with some extraordinary behind-the-scenes footage from the set of her latest project, Manuale d'Amore 2, sequel to a very successful comedy at last year Italy's box office. The film is structured in four episodes. In "Eros" Monica plays a physiotherapist helping an invalid young man regain the use of his legs and walk again after an accident. Her patient (Riccardo Scamarcio, a teenagers' heartthrob in our country) will develop a fatal attraction for the woman. Well, I don't think anyone can blame him, right? ;-) The movie deals with issues that Monica holds very dear such as artificial insemination and gay marriage, and that's part of what attracted her to it. "It's a beautiful script, funny, nice, and also there's not only humor, but a lot of poetry, too," she declared. The cast and crew are shooting at hospital S. Camillo - Forlanini in Rome. Director Giovanni Veronesi testified Monica's presence caused a great turmoil in the building: "I have to bring her touring round all wards to the patients like the Pope, because they all really want to see her." Asked about what happens when people see her in her white coat costume, she replied joking: "They say 'Good morning, doctor.' No, everybody knows we're filming a movie, so we're in this marvellous place. With an unbelievable Roman heat, but in the end I prefer heat to cold, so... Also I'm happy to be here [in Rome] even for a very short time, I'm always happy when I can come back." Finally, talking about love, seduction and her life, she said: "What's stronger and more extreme than love? I believe you can't live without love and it's the most important thing, for me at least. To me what you don't know is seductive. This is erotism, isn't it? The discovery. I am a normal woman. I've been with the same man for 11 years, I have a daughter... So in the end I'm a normal woman doing a very special job."
I took a total of 215 screen captures you can see in the gallery along with 18 HQ stills. Clips are coming soon.
